Question:
Where do we pick up our Kruse Audio Guide from?

Answer:
We courier your Kruse Audio Guide to your designated hire car company or campervan depot, in plenty of time before you arrive. You must ask for the Kruse package at the time of picking up your vehicle, as sometimes the staff are not aware of your collection of the Kruse.

 

Question:
What do we do with the Kruse Audio Guide at the end of the hire?

Answer:
We provide you with a return paid courier bag in which to send the system back to us. Please hand it over to your drop off depot at the same time you return your vehicle keys and ask them to post it back to us or alternatively you can just hand it in to a local Post Shop.

 

Question:
Is the Kruse Audio Guide easy to use?

Answer:
Yes, all you need to do is plug it into the cigarette lighter in the vehicle and tune the radio. The Operational Instructions are located on the inside of the Kruse unit’s case to refer to at any point on your journey.

 

Question:
I will be hiring a GPS system as well as the Kruse Audio Guide, how do they both work in the vehicle at the same time?

Answer:
Please ask us at the time of booking to include a double adaptor and we will send this with your Kruse. There is no charge for us to include this item.

 

Question:
When booking the Kruse Audio Guide on your website, I didn’t see the hire company in your drop down menu for you to send my Kruse Audio Guide to, what do I do?

Answer:
No problem, please just include your hire companies address details in the “address” field and also drop off location details and we will send it directly to your designated hire company.

 

Question:
What if I’m staying at a hotel or I’m staying with friends at a NZ home address, can I organise for my Kruse Audio Guide to be delivered there?

Answer:No problem, please just include the delivery address details in the “address” field on the booking form on the website, whether it be a hotel or private address and we will send it directly. We do however prefer to send the Kruse to rental companies as they are available during business hours to receive the Kruse Audio Guide. If no one is home at a private address to receive the Kruse Audio Guide, the courier will then return it to the local post shop and this can lead to late deliveries.

 

Question:
Will the Kruse Audio Guide work in any vehicle that I will be taking on my holiday?

Answer:
Yes, but the vehicle needs to have a radio that can be tuned to 107.7FM or a band expander fitted to accommodate this frequency. Most hire companies are aware of this, and we do highlight this fact on the package for the rental companies to make sure they give you a compatible vehicle.

 

Question:
Does the commentary continually play along the routes we will be travelling so we know it is working properly?

Answer:
The Kruse Audio Guide will play commentary only when there is something of interest and other times, it will play a selection of easy listening music for your enjoyment.

 

Question:
Will we have to listen to annoying commercials or advertisements when listening to the Kruse Audio Guide?

Answer:
No, we prefer that you sit back, relax and listen to the quality audio presentations that bring New Zealand to life along your journey.

 

Question:
What if I’m planning to take the same route both directions, will I hear the same commentary twice?

Answer:
No, the Kruse Audio Guide is sophisticated enough to know that you have travelled that road earlier in your holiday and won’t play the same commentary twice but instead play other commentary that you haven’t heard.

 

Question:
In the unlikely event of my Kruse Audio Guide not working or I am having problems with hearing commentary on my journey, what can I do?

Answer:
Please call us on 0800 457 873 which is 24hours and we will endeavour to trouble shoot the problem over the phone, or alternatively we will send out another Kruse Audio Guide to your next destination overnight.

What if I decide to extend my holiday and want to have my Kruse hire extended as well?

Answer:
